Pareesa’s Plant Products
This is year #2 of Pareesa Pourian’s once-a-year herbal offerings, with the invitation to buy or trade. Luckily, the plants return every year, so too does making things with them. This year, Pareesa is happy to include products made by her friend and collaborator across various disciplines, Anna Moschovakis. To fill out an order, use this link. (If you'd like to trade, please indicate in the notes). Both Pareesa and Anna have various other tinctures, oils, etc, so if you're looking for something in particular that's not listed, just ask.

What lives at the intersection of these two sets of practices, oral history and journalism, and how does the ambidextrous journalist-oral historian trouble though moments when the practices diverge? This workshop was created to support journalists, oral historians, nonfiction writers, radio folks and documentarians of all stripes, and/or those wishing to reconcile ethics and journalistic constraints when working with longer form interviews and shorter form platforms. How can oral history’s sensitivity to intersubjectivity, trauma and its archival orientation support journalistic practice and inspire new forms? Sessions will take the forms of mini-presentations, interactive exercises, case studies, tech training/skillshares, listening/screening parties, pitch sessions and movement interludes (dance, games, meditation).
